*Small tasks include any task that takes less than 30-minutes to complete. These are typically things like additions to written content and imagery. See more of what’s included and not in website support tasks. Request for new features or support tasks that not included in your plan will result in an additional quote. Task time overages are billed at our standard hourly rate. Turnaround time will vary depending on the complexity of your request, but most changes are completed within 24-72 hours during our regular business hours Monday-Friday.
Hosting is an add-on service requiring a 12-month subscription term and selection of a care plan is required

Care plan fAQs
Website maintenance is an important part of keeping your website up and running properly. We take great care to first backup your website and check to ensure it’s working properly before we make any changes.
Our software keeps a record of plugin updates so if there is ever an issue, we can identify the troubled plugin and revert to a previous functioning version.
When updates are performed from the WordPress Admin, you don’t get this record or ability to revert. We take the time to devote to updating your website thoroughly. We also include a Website care plan report so you can see exactly what has been done each month.
These are generally small tasks that take 30-minutes or less to complete. Some examples are:
- Changing photos on a page
- Modifying the text on a page
- Publishing a blog post you have written
- Sourcing stock photography
- 20-minute phone consultations
Anything that you request that falls out of our general support (requires additional time and resources for development), will result in formal quote for additional work.
Unused monthly support requests do not roll over.
What we can’t cover are items that are quite time intensive such as:
- Content or blog writing
- Creating or editing videos
- Custom icons, photo editing, or graphic design work
- Development of PDFs
Although we can’t offer these services included with care plan hours, we are happy to provide a quote for these services.
Many times we will evaluate requests that exceed your plan on a case by case basis, and with approval, work past the time and bill for time exceeded at our standard hourly support rate.

If the website is only down for you, try clearing your browser history (cookies and cache) and reload the page, also check your internet connection. If the website is down for everyone, shoot us a support ticket email at email@example.com (chances are, our website up-time monitor has already alerted us and we’re working on it).
Downtime is typically due to one of a few common issues:
- Your hosting, domain or SSL has expired, and the bill is overdue for payment
- The hosting provider is running server maintenance (which can cause a quick hiccup)
If you got an email that some files have been compromised, make sure it is not a phishing scam by calling your website host and verifying.
Forward the email to our support team firstname.lastname@example.org. We will take the next steps to identify what has been compromised. In most cases we can restore your site from a clean backup and talk to the host about where the issue originated. In other cases, a third-party service is needed to clean the compromised files and add additional security.
Keeping your website software up to date is the best way to prevent compromises. Unfortunately updating won’t prevent a hack 100% which is why we work with your webs host and third parties on your behalf to restore your website.
The purpose of having a protection plan is for preventative care. We hope to prevent these types of things from happening. However, sometimes the web can be unpredictable and “@#!&” happens.
If you are on a care plan, we will assist in the restoration of your website from our site backups. If you’re not hosted with us, we’ll work with your hosting company on your behalf.
There can be several reasons for slow loading websites. The most common cause is overloaded hosting servers. Ensuring you are on a top tier quality hosting provider is the first step.
Another common cause of slow loading are images that have not been properly optimized and external embedded media and ads. Full-sized images can consume a lot of bandwidth while loading. Take the time to resize and optimize images prior to uploading them to your site.
Think twice before embedding other’s media into your site. Adding media from external sources can only run as fast as the host site they are on.
Plugins can also be a culprit for slow loading pages, just like external media, plugins can bring in resources from other websites.
